This one’s been a wild ride! Made to Suit is a collaborative project that brings together Australian tattoo artists to create full body suits as living works of art. The final pieces are shown at two exhibitions — one on the Gold Coast, and one at the Sydney Tattoo Convention — and I’m beyond honoured to have been a part of it.
My piece took over 300 hours across 6 months, entirely made using dotwork (yep… just me, a single needle, and a lotof patience). It was the most intense, rewarding, and exhausting thing I’ve ever done — my hands may never forgive me, but my heart is full.
What made this project so special was not just the end result, but the process: long nights, creative blocks, breakthroughs, and about a hundred audiobooks to keep me company. I can’t share too much just yet (we’re still in exhibition mode!), but once I get the all-clear, I’ll be posting the full journey — the design, the concept, the behind-the-scenes, and probably a few emotional rambles too.
This one means a lot.
